In a nutshell… Ruthless freelance professional assassin Jenks is hired by an ultra-top secret government agency – responsible for the dirtiest of work – to kill a rogue CIA analyst and prevent a super Wikileaks-like Russian backed dissemination of catastrophic above Top Secret explosive revelations, capable of overturning the world order.

Using the most ingenious of spycraft, the chameleon like Jenks has no option but to let the crime play out until the very end. With the action taking place between Soho, London and Virginia, USA, Jenks hurtles towards the ultimate confrontation and sacrifice – his pedal to the metal race to uncover the truth will leave you gasping.

So who is Jenks?

Turning down an approach from MI6 whilst in his last weeks at Charterhouse school, Jenks joined the army at 18, rising rapidly through the ranks, but found the higher he climbed, the further he became removed from all the reasons he signed up. Disenchanted, he resigned, having attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

After taking time out to travel, he made the call to the mysterious man who approached him years before, having memorised the number thanks to an unusual mental trait he’d perfected.

It transpires that James Camburn, the man who tried to recruit him, wanted Jenks not for MI6, but The Department, an organization so far off the books and clandestine, it didn’t even have a proper name. Utilising all the skills he excelled at, Jenks soon became the assassin’s assassin.

Whilst not on missions for The Department, Jenks accepts contracts through the dark web, taking on only those he considers just and necessary. When not killing people, he can be found living in Whitstable on the Kent coast enjoying his great love of bird watching.
